The "Mature Content" Removal Needs To Stop!

Recently there have been manga sites that are taking out all their mature manga. All be cause of an article that says"Google Supports Child Pornography" which is outrageous. The article states that "According to Google Adsense Terms of Service (TOS) simply linking to pornography (legal or not) is a violation, that is unless a website has enough traffic to make it worthwhile." "Manga & anime (Japanese comics and cartoons) frequently involve characters of questionable age in sexual situations but there’s nothing ambiguous about the genres known as Lolicon and Shotacon, in which clearly prepubescent girls and boys are blatantly sexualized. While no actual children are involved, these images are still considered illegal under the United States’ Protect Act and the UK’s Coroners and Justice Act." It also listed many sites that have these so called "Violations" which the owners of the sites commented and took action.


Not only is it just manga sites but also any and all sites that you can watch anime on. Some sites have gone to extremes to fix the problems. Like they'll suspend a manga or anime and they'll edit any thing that they find that could get them in trouble. When I say edit I mean they remove those features. As in if on page of a manga has "Mature Content" they will remove that whole page. If 5 minutes of a video has "Mature Content" they'll remove that 5 minutes of the video. So, now people aren't able to watch or read any thing that is "Mature" without there being stuff missing.


Some sites don't want to remove features from the stuff posted on their sites so they send it to other sites. Some sites are just getting rid of the whole entire series. I email the person who wrote the article. I told he/she/they that they went to far with this. Because now web sites have become more controlling. Also if anyone makes an account and they're under 18 or 19 they can't read or watch stuff that they used to be able to. Before I was able to read the Dragon Ball series now I can't because the manga sites are saying it has mature content when it does not. So now we're are unable to watch anime that has fighting in it and the characters clothes get torn or something.


I'm very annoyed with this because I read and watch any thing that may seem interesting. Plus I watch fighting anime and their clothing does get torn here or there. And yeah there may be revealing parts of there body. But that's anime and manga for you, there's no way that you can force people to stop posting this type of stuff its part of the Japanese writing culture. I also believe that if you can't sensor "Mature Content" in real life then why sensor it online. That's just my opinion you may think differently or you may agree. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I'm not here to change your minds I'm just letting you all know what's going on.

Quizilla

Has anyone noticed that Quizilla has been deleting people's stories. Then they say "This creation has been removed from Quizilla for containing sexually explicit material. For those who don't know why they're doing this,I'm going to tell you my reason why. If you been on Quizilla you would have seen that its owned mostly by Nickelodeon now. If you don't know Nickelodeon is a kids & family channel. So now if kids or parents were to come to Quizilla and found something they don't approve of both Quizilla and Nick would be in trouble. So they go in read every thing you post and if they find it "too mature" it goes bye-bye.

Before Quizilla was owned by MTV and they allowed "mature content", but then they decided to become part of TeenNick and Neopets. Which began the many changes to Quizilla. My opinion of what's going to become of Quizilla is not very positive.

I think Quizilla will eventually crash and burn. For one they give you no warnings of when they're going to delete your work. Two they don't give you any time to change it or remove it your self. Three they delete all of your hard work. Plus I've know some people who have cried over their stories and stayed up all night to write them.

Quizilla has no right to do any of these things with out notifying you first. If they have transfer to a new site and chew them out about how wrong they are.
